Cinefemme is a non-profit organization which supports female filmmakers to realize their independent, artistic film projects.
We provide fiscal sponsorship to qualifying non-commercial projects, and help develop strategies for women screenwriters, directors, producers and filmmakers from initial conception to exhibition.
Our annual Femme Film Show showcases films made by our sponsored filmmakers, as well as work by other talented female filmmakers. Additionally, our aim to promote the work of female artists of various media (including writers, musicians and fine arts) and connect them to filmmakers, will thus build practical bridges between artists of multiple skills as they seek collaborate in film production. The general mission of Cinefemme is recognition, support and promotion of the art of independent femme filmmaking in all of its creative stages.
