Dania Thalia Olivo is a Dominican writer, director, and mom that grew up in New York City. She moved to Syracuse, NY as an adolescent and there, she got her BA in English and Communications at Le Moyne College. She also started her family there, having two children. Her son passed away in 2020 which is what prompted her to go back to school and finish getting her bachelors. Currently, she is living in Los Angeles with her daughter while  attending Loyola Marymount University to get her MFA in Film Production.
